Common capabilities strategy
A current-state analysis and a future-state plan for merging duplicated software capabilities.
The starting point
The same capabilities had been built more than once across different products. Every duplicate carried its own maintenance cost, its own defects, and its own release cycle - and no one had a full picture of the overlap.
The work
We audited what existed, mapped where capabilities genuinely overlapped, and proposed a future state where shared services are built once and consumed by every product. The roadmap sequences what to merge first, and says plainly what is not worth consolidating.
The outcome
The company has a clear, prioritized view of what to consolidate and what to leave alone. The overlap that no one could see in full is now mapped in one place, so decisions about what to build once are grounded in evidence rather than instinct.
